I bought this at a Cabela's store this spring and set it up in July. The directions aren't very thorough but the camera is easy to set up. The thing that could use improvement is the trigger speed. Several times, especially at night, there was nothing in the picture. I was able to capture elk, deer, and bears at a very affordable price. If your looking for an affordable and reliable camera this is the one. My thought is who needs more than 2 mega pixels. All you need these cameras for is to see what is there and when it is there. You can't take a picture to the taxidermist!

This camera does not have a go flash range. The deer has to be within four feet to geat a good night pic. Is there any way to upgrade the flash in it. For your location selection you dont have New York. I put PA for being the closest state

I bought this as a backup for my Leaf River. Thus far day images are very poor quality and flash pictures are almost totally washed out. This camera would probably make a good paper weight.

Tried 3 cameras, each with different problems. The flash would not fire on the first. Inconsistant triggering on the second. Would not power up consistantly with the third. Went through bunches of batteries. Took them all back. Hope they make improvements on quality control-

Lots of half pics of deer, camera would sometimes just be dead when I went to check it,even though the batteries would check out to be good. Sometimes it wouldn't turn on and when it did come on it wouldn't turn off without removing the batteries, then you'd have to reset all of the time/day functions. I bought 2 of these at the same time and neither one works very well, not very impressed with them. I would not buy another one!!!!

We are Outfitters in Idaho and we have six Wildview Xtreme2 Trail Cameras that we use on our bear baits. We have been fairly impressed with them. The delay is a little long, but at a bear bait, that doesn't really matter.

You can see our bear hunting and trail camera pictures on our website.

I've recently put in a food plot on my hunting ground and wanted to see what was visiting the site while wasen't their. So I went to the local Gander and spent $100.00 bucks on a wild view extreme2. I set it up on a small tree and left it for a week. The images I got were stunning. I got a buck in velvet with is nose 10" for the camera lense. Also a picture of a deer's belley while it is standing on it's hind legs eating leaves off the branches above the camera. All in all I was impressed with my $100 dollar camera.

i didn't like it at all since it had a 15 sec delay! many of the deer were walking right past it with no photo taken. several others had the same issue. when i called wildfire they galdly exchanged the unit, but it had the same problem. it was very nice to set up, etc. but you had to stand in the 'zone' for 15 sec to get a photo.

I have been pleasently suprised by these cams (I have 2 now; and a 3.0 mp version). They are extremely easy to set up and operate and picture quality is adequate. I wish battery life was better (approx. 2 weeks)
