The Stealth Cam Unit is a micro infrared trail camera. The width and height dimensions are only 4inches by 6inches. This puts it in the category with Bushnell Trophy Cam and the Moultrie M80 and M100. Like we have said before, a small compact size makes the camera much easier to place on a field edge or in the deer woods.
Digital trail camera picture resolution is not a problem with the Unit's 8MP still images. Each image is stamped with the time of day, the date, the moon phase and the temperature. You can also enable the 1-9 image Burst Mode which is a great setting over active trails. Night time picture quality is aided with 38 infrared emitters which give it a 40ft flash range. The Stealth Cam Unit can also capture 10-180 seconds of game camera video.

I bought (3) of these cameras and they were all junk. They ate new batteries and took few to no pictures. When set up with another camera to verify defectiveness, both set to (9) picture bursts, and located in the same area, the “Unit” took (9) pictures, while the other camers took over (500)! I tried to contact Stealth Cam via email and received no response. This is bothersome since we have other (older) Stealth Cam cameras that have served us well. However, based on the experience I had, I would NOT recommend these “Units.”

I purchased the Unit just under one month ago…I’m spending too much money on batteries. The amount of time the camera is in use doesn’t justify spending anymore money on batteries. It will be returned to the store I purchased it from real soon! Totally disappointed!!!

This camera was a waste of hard earned money. Total junk, trigger speed is so slow. You might get a turtle on it.Very dissapointed never again. The older 540ir has served me well.Sad their going backwards in quality.
