Time to take a look at the Primos Truth Cam 46 infrared trail camera. It received its name from the 46 infrared LED array that lights up the night. Primos says the array will give you about 50ft flash range at night. The camera has resolution adjustments so you manage your memory card capacity. You can choose from 5MP, 3.1MP or 1.3MP.

The Primos Truth Cam 46 also gives each photo a time, temperature, moon phase stamp so you can pattern the movements of all the mature bucks on your ranch. You can also capture video so setting up over a scrape might provide for some exciting footage. The camera runs on four D cell batteries.

Primos is releasing some great cameras and you might also be interested in the Primos Truth Cam 35.  Take a look at the great Primos Truth Cam 46 prices and reviews below.

I bought this camera in October of last year and it has taken over 1500 pics. Set the sensitivity to low unless you want a ton of tree movement pics. The low setting works good. It’s got great range during the day and at night. The batteries last a long time but your pics will suffer with low batteries. Overall, I am really impressed with this camera.

I own both a Primos Truth Cam 35 and a Truth Cam 46 and I think I prefer the less expensive 35. The Truth Cam 46 is an excellent camera, and the camouflage color is nice, as compared to the dark gray case of the Truth Cam 35. The 46 also allows several options not available in the less expensive 35 model. It also offers a 5-MP resolution as compared to the 3-MP resolution available from the Truth Cam 35.

However, to my eyes the photographs taken by the Truth Cam 35 are every bit as good, despite its lower resolution. For my purposes, I don’t use most of the options not available in the 35, and those that I do use at times are not overly important to me.

Lastly, while most people view the audible click that results from a photograph taken by the Truth Cam 35 as a negative, I view it as a positive. It seldom if ever spooks the animal, but it does prompt the animal to look in the direction of the camera and even to come in for a closer look. The Truth Cam 46 does not produce an audible click and, although black bears tend to notice it anyhow, I think that this results in fewer closeup pictures, or in comparatively fewer photos showing the animal looking in the direction of the camera.

The Truth Cam 46 is not as easy to use as the Truth Cam 35, which only means that I had to actually read the manual.

Other than that, both the Truth Cam 35 and Truth Cam 46 models are excellent wildlife cameras, and well worth the money.
