Compact, mini, ultra compact are just a few of most common buzz words associated with the new 2011 trail cameras.  The brand new Primos Super Model is the newest member of the gang.  The 6inch by 4inch dimensions seem to be the form factor everyone is falling into.  You would be able to fit six of these game cams into your deer hunting bag.

Primos Super Model Commercial Video

Primos is promising a 50ft flash range with the help of the 40 LEDs.  During the day you can choose between 3MP, 5MP or 7MP color images. These images can be saved on an SD card up to 8GB.  By my calculations, this means you have more than 2500 trail camera pictures before having a full card.  Like many other game cameras, you also have the option of capturing video.

The Primos Super model is powered by eight AA batteries.  You may be able to get a year of service out of one set of batteries.  The manufacturer is suggesting a .3 second trigger speed.  The built in screen is a nice feature for viewing pictures in the field.
