The time lapse photo function is often overlooked when people are shopping for a new trail camera. Basically you position the camera overlooking any subject and on a programed interval, a still image is captured. This feature is only limited by your imagination and your subject. A house construction site is a very popular spot for time lapse trail camera photography. The guys from pixcontroller had a trail camera setup that I thought was very unique. They captured a monarch caterpillar wrapping itself in a chrysalis.
The Moultrie I60 and the Moultrie M60 are both capable of time lapse mode and come highly recommended.
