Moultrie Feeders is really revamping the entire lineup of trail cameras for 2009. They have gone back to the drawing board and tried to engineer a much smaller package. The first thing that everyone will notice is the general size and appearance. A major reason the units are smaller is Moultrie has dropped back to 4 D-cell batteries. It will be interesting to see how long the camera last and performs with only 4 batteries. Quoted from press release Moultrie’s 2009 game cameras retail $279.99-$379.99.
Through AT&T’s cellular network, you can wirelessly transmit images, check battery status or even change your camera setting – all from your computer, PDA or cell phone.
Moultrie has also renamed everying trail cam in the fleet. Simply add a 5 to each model and you have the new 2009 model name. The Game Spy I45 and I65 specs are basically the same as last year. The major kicker is the announcement of the all New Moultrie Game Management System . This is Moultire's official launch of a cellular trail camera model. This option is made possible with an AT&T modem that can be purchased seperately for the I45 and I65. With this modem the hunter will be able to retrieve images and check battery life. The trail camera pictures will be held on the Moultrie Management System website. According to the press release, the website site will provide members access to check the cellular trail cameras remotely. Moultrie’s complete Game Management System will be available summer 2009.
