Cuddeback Capture Trail Camera
The Cuddeback Capture trail camera is Cuddeback's answer to an inexpensive, entry level trail camera. For under $200 you can get sub second trigger speeds and over 2000 pictures on one set of batteries. Cuddeback has utilized an all new rotary switch, which makes programming easier than setting your alarm clock. The 50 foot flash range provides for great night time photos. Five delay settings let you choose the time between exposures, from 30 seconds to 30 minutes. The cuddeback Capture does come with onboard memory but it is suggested that an SD card be used to increase the capacity. The camera is protected by a weatherproof camo housing.

“1. pictures are often blury.
2. Battery life 2 weeks in 65-90 degrees.
3.Flash doesn\’t work on 2 out of 5.
4.mounting to a tree is hard because you don\’t want the batteries to fall out( they usually do).
5.you cannot count on them to take a picture I watched a cow under my feeder and it didn\’t take a picture.
6.case is not weatherproof.
7.Customer Service? What customer service?”

Have had some trouble with cam not writing to SD card or card will be unformatted after being in cam and set out, resulting in no pics. But when it takes pics they are nice. Trigger speed is quick enough to call it a \”trail\” cam. Super easy to program but security is nil.Case fits tight and so far no water inside.Worth the price.

I have two Cuddeback Capture trail cameras and they BOTH are performing quite well. This is my FIRST season using trailcameras so I DO NOT consider myself an “authority” but I really have NO COMPLAINTS. The photos I am getting are crisp, clear and the camera seems to be VERY reliable. No problem with moisture and the 4 D-cell batteries are STILL pretty strong. I am very seriously considering purchasing a couple more. I wanted a “user friendly” trailcamera and these are just that!! They are VERY affordable cameras. So far… I give them a 5 STAR RATING!!!

I have owned several brands of cameras for 15 years. We run a 3000 acer ranch in Mo. and rely on our cameras heavily to put hunters on deer. We currently have 11 cameras. We had mostly cuddebacks for years, but have become disgusted with the failure rate of these cameras most will have to be replaced after one year, which they will do if you send them $120.00 . The customer support is the worst in the business and when my last two quite working I will through them in the trash. I have a friend that has a similar ranch that has purchased numerous over the years that has none now. We have had good results with the Wildview 5 which is much!! better than the cuddeback. I have also heard good things about the moultrie which will be my next purchase. Good luck in the search of quality cameras.
