It is the fastest wake up time i have seen.Battery life is great,been in the field for two mouths around 300 pictures,haven't recharged the batterys yet.The pictures good,not great but remember it has No Flash at all so it doesn't spook the smart old bucks!! This is my fourth camera i have owend and the best...
