I have been using my Cuddeback Expert now for almost a year. I am very satisfied. Love the pictures. I have placed it on a trail and on an alfalfa field during the summer and early fall. Trigger speed was fast enough to get the deer.

Got mine at the Cabelas in Wheeling and have never had a problem with it, so never have had to call the company.

The batteries in cold weather don't last, but I figure if its 10 an below it takes a lot of power to get the flash. Now during warm weather I put batteries in during July when I put it up and used the same batteries until Mid-November. They were still working then, but I was moving the camera to a new spot and with the cooler temp and I wasn't going to check it for awhile.

I have not used but one other brand so I can't compare first hand much, but the Cuddeback provide my family and I another form of fun.

One of my few complaints would be the battery placement. You do have to take the camera off the tree to remove and put in new ones.
