Images taken with IR flash are grainy but as a scout tool are good enough for what I want. Day images are good quality but are not true color and some are b&w or a red hue but as I said are quite good quality overall. Programming is definitely not as easy as some trail cams but once learned is a breeze to setup. Test lamp is big and can be easily seen unlike some cameras. Camera mounted on a solid steel frame and with a 3/8" x 6' python cable/lock can be secured to virtually any size tree. I use 1Gb CF cards and swap out in the woods then bring home the old card to view on the PC. 400 event counter and can easily be reset.

Overall I think its not a bad mid price range cam and would probably by another.

I bought this as a backup for my Leaf River. Thus far day images are very poor quality and flash pictures are almost totally washed out. This camera would probably make a good paper weight.
